Relaxing after a large lunch. Oooh how lovely! It's amazing how
revitalized one feels after a full nights sleep.

Another Balamory episode...

I can't feel a drip on the strip. It is hot today in Rammers and there
is a queue to get into Thanet. Everyone wants a piece of the Kent
Riviera.

Nuptuals

Parkes and I have set a date for our wedding - 8th May 2010! We will be getting married overlooking Pegwell Bay in Ramsgate. The wedding will unite two family dynasties; the Parkers and the Stringers. It will be like the union of the Kennedys and the Onassis families - let's hope there are no assassinations between now and May.

Palm Bay: On Saturday we spent the afternoon at Alex's 2nd birthday party. We had a lovely afternoon enjoying the sunshine and watching Alex (aided by Beth) enjoying his presents. Baz cooked a stonking BBQ and everyone had a good time. Alex and Beth are very cool together - good buddies!

Birthday Present

Somebody very kindly sent Beth a pop-up book for her birthday entitled "Monkey Business". Beth really likes it. So, whoever you are, thanks!
I have recently resumed my jogging and like to do some stretching before each outting. Beth seems to enjoy this as well for some reason.

Keith and Bob Barker chewing the fat on Friday night.

Potty Boot Camp

Beth started her potty training in earnest on Friday. Overall she has been excellent and seems to be grasping the potty/toilet concept with both hands.

Meanwhile, I went out with Kaiser Keith and Bob Barker on Friday night. It was thoroughly enjoyable and was nice to see Bob in the boozer, having not seen him for a long time. Keith bought me some rum and cokes towards the end of the evening and I ended up annoying a blue-haired woman in the kebab house at kicking-out time. Must do it again sometime.
