Sole sister

This is Emily's foot, her feet seem to be smaller than Beth's were and wider. Good news, as shoe hunting is always an issue for such skinny feet. Emily looks like she has inherited Parkes body shape, poor girl....

Good sleeper (so far)...

Emily has been sleeping through to 5 in the morning over the last few nights. Encouraging signs that a pattern is forming. She was nine weeks old yesterday and is putting on weight nicely. Parkes is doing the night feeds at the moment without relief as I have a cold and an annoying cough (so I'm told). I also seem to have a stye on my eyelid, which looks nice.
On a more positive note, I have won a place on a brewing technology course in the US worth $3700. Nice eh?!

Big Lady

Emily had a weigh-in this week and tipped the scales at 8 pounds 10 oz. She is putting weight on far quicker than her sister did, and has a very keen appetite. She is taking 6oz of formula every 4 hours.

In other news it's the Planet Thanet Beer Festival 2012 this week. This marks the start of busy times at the brewery and springtime too. Can't go crazy with beer today though as will have another broken night's sleep tonight - can't take the pain these days!
