Post Wedding
The wedding was about three weeks ago but it seems an age since we tied the knot. Mrs Stringer and I are enjoying married life and, unexpectedly, it does feel different. It is actually quite nice to say to people "my wife" rather than "my girlfriend" or in some cases "my woman" - I am now a mature, fully-grown man of 38 years and girlfriends are something you have when you are 15. Married life is very nice and the only thing soiling it somewhat is my job which still means I am not about very much. I haven't had a chance to fart recently and that is having a big effect on my domestic life and blog efforts. However, that will change in late August / early September when my contract finishes in London. It will be 'goodbye London' again (!) and I think it is time for a change. Maybe some work locally or something different. I have achieved what I wanted from this London stint and it's time to get my thinking pants on.

Wedding Review
Wow. It was a brilliant experience for both Parkes and I. The weather held for us and although it was rather cold we managed to get married outside. Everyone looked fabulous (especially my wife) and there were so many smiles - it really was a special day. Thanks to everyone who came and shared these moments with us, your cards and gifts were very beautiful and generous. You all went out of your way for us and we will remember it always.
We are accumulating photos from the wedding day and we'll post them as they become available.

Not Long To Go...
I have been working like a worker bee on time and half. Only one more
day of work and then I'll be free of the shackles. I've got a feeling
it is all going to go wrong and I will come back to some pissed off
people but all you can do is your best, right?

Saturdays weather forecast looks like it'll be grey and overcast but
hopefully no rain. Don't want the canapes to go all soggy or get
covered in volcanic ash. Mind you, I've always liked burned toast.
