Valencia: Beth playing around.

Valencia: Fire engines at the bottom of our apartment block. There was
lots of smoke and the police entered our apartment whilst I was in my
undercrackers. All very unnecessary.
Valencia: Central market action as Beth tries to force feed Granny B with a cucumber.

Valencia: The ceiling of the central market which is a fantastic place full of sights and smells.

Valencia: La plaza de la virgen where we spent a lot of time drinking coffee and Beth spent a lot of time chasing pigeons.

Valencia: Las Torres next to our apartment. My mother and I made it all the way to the top and weezed a bit when we got there.

Valencian Food

The food in Valencia was fantastic. Two places we really enjoyed:

Las Cuevas is a small and fantastic bar with the most amazingly varied and plentiful tapas. We have been there a few times and every time we are blown away.

Il Piccolo on Calle de Borrull served beautiful food and the best flan I have ever eaten.

Valencia: Saturday night at the Mestalla. It was 24 degrees centigrade and the atmos was cracking. It will be a shame when this stadium becomes redundant at the end of the season - it is a great place to visit.

Valencia

Parkes, Beth, Granny B and myself have just enjoyed a fab break in Valencia. The weather, food, company and sights were lovely and Valencia is pretty much my fave city right now. Pictures will be posted.

Parkes and I (but mainly Parkes) have been trying to be a bit more adventurous with our evening meals. Tonight's offering was lemony cod with cumin potatoes and tomatoes. It was jolly lovely. Our next mission will be to cook the two rabbits in our freezer. These arrived courtesy of Kaiser Keith and his rabbit friend.

First Day At New Job

Today was my first day at Business Computer Solutions in Ramsgate. Everyone was very friendly, kind and helpful. It is lovely to have an eleven minute walk to work. Hopefully I will soon regain my techie powers and be closing calls at a rate of knots.
