This Miso soup looks much nicer than the one I ate. Someone has chucked some spinach in and made it a little more interesting. Apparently it is nice with tofu as well but, to me, that is like adding something bland to something bland.

Miso Hungry
I decided to try some Miso soup at lunchtime today on the basis that it is good for your health. For a start, the guy in Pret-a-Manger added water to it so it must be a powder soup (not a healthy start). Secondly, it has given me a bad case of the burps (both upstairs and downstairs). Finally, the Internet says that instant Miso soup has high levels of sodium and monosodium glutamate. Cheers guys.

Nuclear Submarine v Pinky Ponk
I don't really put topical stuff on the Blog but I find it hard to believe that two highly sophisticated nuclear submarines could collide in any ocean on the planet. Apparently the seas were rough at the time but unless they were on the surface then does it really matter?
Maybe they should take a leaf out of the Pinky Ponk's book. When the Pinky Ponky collides with another object it's boob-like nose protects it from damage. It make a fart noise and continues on it's way. Food for thought for the MoD.

Keith's Packet
Our chum Keith popped around on Saturday to bring me a beer and show
off his new bicycle. It looks great. Keith was wearing skin-tight
cycling shorts which are part of every bicycle enthusiasts wardrobe. I
think he should have worn them back in our band days - Stella
definitely lacked some tight lycra.

It has been a cold and snowy old week. Rammers has been pretty much unscathed but London seemed to cop it badly. I worked from home on Monday and Tuesday as there were no trains running. My friend Charles took the picture on the left - this is Beckenham in south-east London. I don't remember snow in London like this. As I came into Cannon Street station this morning the snow is still lying there - what a naughty little cold snap!
