Parkes and I took Beth for a walk on the east cliff on Wednesday afternoon. The skies were brooding and there were amazing contrasts of light and darkness. Beth was sound asleep and didn't notice.
On Friday lunchtime there was a mini-hurricane out in Pegwell Bay. A small finger of cloud pointed down to a patch of dancing sea about 20ft across. It lasted for half an hour or so. Wonderful!
