We did manage to take two pictures whilst with everyone in Gijón. This is one of them. It is taken from the Playa de San Lorenzo looking towards the old fishing village of Cimadevilla. Our hotel was located to the left of the shot. Looking back (with rose-tinted glasses) it's a really nice city and I would definitely like to go back.

In March Parkes, Beth and I are flying to Asturias again but this time we'll be hiring a car and venturing an hour south to Astorga in the province of León. El Camino de Santiago passes through both Astorga and the City of León.
